Daily Scripture Reading: Matthew 26:6–13
Worship can become familiar if we are not careful. We know the words to sing. We show up for church, but our hearts may remain at a distance. It can feel easier to stay comfortable than to bring Jesus something personal.
Jesus is worthy of more than routine. He is King, and He is worthy of our whole hearts. When we see Him for who He is, worship becomes more than something we do. It becomes a response of love that does not hold back.
That kind of worship will sometimes cost us something. It asks us to honor Him in everyday life, not just on Sunday. It calls us to release control and trust Him with what we have been holding tightly. Love that honors Jesus does not stay guarded. It draws near with open hands.
So bring Him your best today. Set aside time and give Him your full attention. Come to Him honestly and without holding back. Then place one specific thing in His hands as an act of worship. Let that surrender be personal and real, and trust Him with what you give.
From costly devotion to the cross where love is poured out fully, He’s still the King.
What does it look like for me to honor Jesus with what matters most to me?
Guiding Kidspoint Question: How can I show Jesus He’s important to me?
Prayer: Jesus, You are still the King. You are worthy of my best. I bring You what I tend to hold tightly, and I place it in Your hands. Teach me to worship You with trust and devotion. Amen.
