Daily Scripture Reading: Matthew 22:34-40
Love can sound simple until it reaches into real life. It is easy to admire the idea of love. It is another thing to let love shape our lives.
Jesus brings us back to what matters most. Love God with all you are, and love your neighbor as yourself. He is not speaking about shallow affection or polite religion. He is calling us into a life shaped by wholehearted devotion.
This kind of love reaches into ordinary places. It meets us in our conversations, in our patience, in the way we carry ourselves through the day. It asks us to see people with tenderness. It teaches us to serve with sincerity. It forms in us a faith that looks more and more like Jesus.
So begin today by turning your heart toward God. Ask Him to deepen your love for Him and to open your eyes to the people around you. Then look for one person you can serve well today through your time, your attention, or your encouragement. Small acts of love often become the very places where faith grows strong.
From the command that shapes the heart to the cross that proves His love, He’s still the King
