Daily Scripture Reading: Luke 22:14–20

Surrender often begins where we grip most tightly. It is where love is tested, and trust is put into practice.

Jesus shows us this in the garden. Under the weight of sorrow, He turns toward the Father. He brings His anguish before God, and from that place of deep communion, He yields to the Father’s will.

Surrender is rarely loud. It's a simple, yet holy moment when we stop clinging to our desires and start trusting God's way of living.

So today, pause with open hands. Thank Jesus for His obedience that opens the door to our salvation. Then, bring Him the thing you need to release, and let obedience begin with one honest prayer.

From the table to the garden to the road ahead, He’s still the King.

Guiding Question: Where in your life do you need to surrender control and trust Jesus as King today?

Guiding Kidspoint QuestionWhat is one thing you can give to Jesus today, even if it feels hard?

Prayer: Jesus, You are still the King. Thank You for the sacrifice that brought forgiveness and opened the way to the Father. I bring You the place where surrender feels hard, and I trust You with it. Lead me in obedience today. Amen.
