Holy Week | Holy Saturday

Daily Scripture Reading: Matthew 27:57–66
Saturday sits in the in between, where grief is still close and hope feels just out of reach. It is a quiet kind of day, full of waiting, where the silence leaves room for questions and the heart longs for what comes next.
We know that space too. Some seasons leave us between what God has promised and what we can actually see, and waiting there can feel tender.
Yet even there, God is still at work. What feels finished to us is still in His hands, and what looks like an ending may be the very place where He is preparing a beginning.
So today, bring Jesus the place where you are waiting. Tell Him what feels unfinished, then take one small step of trust. Open the Scriptures, pray a simple prayer, reach out for support, and keep showing up in faith, because waiting with God is never wasted.
From the sealed tomb to the dawn that is coming, He’s still the King.
Guiding Question: Where are you waiting right now, and what is one act of trust you can practice today?
Guiding Kidspoint Question: How can I be patient and remember God is with me?
Prayer: Jesus, You are still the King. Meet me in the waiting and strengthen my faith when I cannot see what You are doing. I place what feels unfinished in Your hands. Amen.
