TEKNON is
basically a fun filled, fast paced worship service for kids. It is our
weekend service for elementary age kids, grades 1-5, offered during the
same times as our weekend service times for adults. First
through Fifth Graders have their own worship time and teaching time
along with other activities that help them connect with the teaching for
that day.
We have tried to create an atmosphere for kids that is
upbeat, fast paced and fun where they can connect with Jesus and the
truths of the Bible. We don't just want a young person to learn a truth
and/or value, but to make that truth and/or value active in their daily
life.
In
order to make this happen we send everyone out of TEKNON with a memory
verse to be memorized and a summary of what they learned so parents can
discuss and reinforce the teaching from that day.
The kids who
visit TEKNON usually want to come back so bad that they turn out to be
our best means of people returning to LifePoint.
