At LifePoint we rely on our Sound Team for a quality Worship experience. They are responsible for ensuring that our speakers and worship band have the right sound mix on stage as well as for the audience. They operate our sound board, our recording system, stage monitors and front of house speaker systems. We also do audio recording and editing of the preaching times and musical events.

 

If you have a good ear for music and are interested in working on the Sound Team, you should be willing to be avaialble on Wednesday evenings and Sundays, as well as other special event practices and show dates. You don't have to help on every event, so don't worry that you would have to be here all the time!

 

We have some tutorial information available online that you can browse through to peak your interest. Bein on the sound team is a great way to learn about how live sound reinforcement works, how to run a master sound console and perform audio editing.  Please contact Jim Clark or Bob Pennington to interview - we will train you so don't worry if you have not done it before. It is your willingness and your ability that we are looking for!
