We see God set His plan into place in the first book of the Bible, Genesis. Adam and Eve brought sin into existence when they chose to disobey God in the Garden of Eden. This was the beginning of sin, and this sin is what separates God from man because God is holy and cannot have anything sinful around Him. However, God still wants all people to spend eternity with Him. The Bible tells us that everyone has sinned and that the consequence of sin is death and eternal separation from God. In order for man to be with God for eternity man must be reconciled to God.

God provided a way to reconcile and forgive man of his sins to end this separation. This salvation is a free gift from God to you if you will only receive it through Jesus Christ. God sent His son Jesus who died on the cross as the perfect sacrifice, shed his blood for our sins and rose again to life conquering death once and for all. Jesus' death and resurrection paid the price for all of man's sins. It is simply your choice of whether you choose to accept the reconciliation and salvation Jesus is offering to you.

To accept this gift you would need to do the following:
  • Believe and Confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
  • Trust that what Jesus did on the cross is enough to reconcile you to God and save you.
  • Repent, by admitting that you have sin in your life which separates you from God and through this repentance you accept Jesus' reconciliation of your sin to God and eternity with Him.
  • Commit yourself to live in Obedience with the way that God desires for your life and be...
  • Baptized as the scriptures describe.
Pray through those things right now...

"God, I believe that Jesus is Your one and only Son. I believe that the sacrifice He made on the cross was enough to pay the price for my sins and His resurrection conquered death once and for all. I am a sinner and I repent of my sin and ask that you forgive me and reconcile me through the blood of Jesus Christ. I am committing myself to give my very best effort to live in obedience to Your ways from the bottom of my heart. I am ready to be baptized as You have asked of me in Your Word. Thank You for loving me so much."
